Another reason to love Coldwell Banker

Starting Friday, people will be able to post home listings from Coldwell Banker Bain's Web site directly to Facebook and Twitter with one click, the company announced Thursday.

Visitors to the sites of CBBain and sister company Coldwell Banker Barbara Sue Seal Properties, which serves the Portland/Vancouver area, will be able to click on a Facebook or Twitter icon under each listing (from any brokerage), log into their accounts and have a link show up on their pages, with optional personal comments.

"We know our clients are connecting with family and friends on social media sites more than ever," Dick Fulton, executive vice president of CBBain and CBSeal, said in a news release. "So it was important that we create a tool for them that makes it easy to share information about their real estate interests and activities."

Loss of a new colleague

I've recently moved my practice from Prudential in Bainbridge Island to Coldwell Banker Bain in Northwest Tacoma. I'm still working in North Kitsap and Bainbridge Island--just expanding my market.

Part of the transition involves meeting new colleagues. Jerry F. has been particularly welcoming and helpful to me.


I learned Tuesday that Jerry, whose wife passed just six months ago, had a stroke while driving. His accident put him into the hospital, where it was discovered that he was terminal with blockages in both carotid arteries. He passed last evening, and I miss him already.
