What's it worth?

The gist of a conversation reported to me by a friend: The reason that Bainbridge condos cost so much is that when they came on the market a lot of Realtors bought them and immediately raised the prices to make a profit. In fact, I know of only five Realtors who bought five new condos as investments. Those whose listing prices are above the market are still making mortgage payments. They simply won't sell if the market isn't there. A condo (or home) is worth what a willing seller will accept from a willing buyer. No owner (Realtor or otherwise) can force buyers to pay more than they want.
