Amazon also has a "call-me-back" feature on our help page: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html

Click on "Contact Us" -- you'll be prompted to sign in. Then click on the "Phone" tab. Type in your phone number, and you'll get a call in a few seconds.

Why do we prefer this to having you call us? Because you've entered your e-mail address and password, we know that you're probably who you claim to be, and not some evildoer trying to steal your identity. (We'll still ask for further identification, like a credit card number, if we need further proof of your identity.)

Yes, identity theft is a topic dear to me, given that I work in the Identity Services group. :-)
